13 Juli A Family Portrait

… vor einiger Zeit wurde ich von einem jungen Mädchen gefragt, ob ich denn ein Foto malen könnte. Es solle eine Überraschung für die Eltern zu ihrem Hochzeitstag werden. Ich hatte keine geeignete Leinwand zur Hand also entschloss ich mich für eine alte massive Rückwand eines Schrankes. Die Maße lagen etwa bei 130 x 100cm. Und los ging’s… 4 Personen mit Sprühdose auf diese schöne glatte Holzfläche.

… some time ago I was asked by a young girl if I could paint a photo. It was to be a surprise for her parents for their wedding anniversary. I didn’t have a suitable canvas to hand so I decided to use an old solid back wall of a cupboard. The dimensions were around 130 x 100 cm. And off we went… 4 people with spray cans on this beautiful smooth wooden surface.
